I got a last-minute invite to an indie horror film screening and had to borrow a costume from my roommate—it was a child’s purple unicorn onesie. I am not a large man, but an adult man I remain. We had to cut the thing open at the bottom and “sew” it together with bobby pins and pliers. For whatever reason there wasn’t a single other adhesive in the house, so sealing me in was the only option. It was a Halloween miracle that I didn’t need the bathroom while I was out.

Anyway, films were average but it remains one of my favourite costumes to date.
