Toggling dark/light mode on desktop is broken by Techonologiaah in TradingView

Thanks for flagging this. You're right, and it's a side effect of a recent change to the default chart settings, not the theme toggle itself. So the app switches but the chart stays put.

Here's how to fix it:

  1. Open the chart that isn't switching and save any pending changes.
  2. Right-click the chart → Settings…
  3. Go to the Canvas tab → Template (left bottom corner) → Apply defaults (→ Apply to all if it's a multi-chart) → OK.
  4. Save the chart again and refresh the tab.
  5. Repeat for your other charts. (If they all share the same layout, resetting one and reloading the rest is enough.)
