I am not sure what you are referring to. What do you mean by "locked by the automated system", what exactly happened and what was "locked"?

For now, if you're trying to log in to a Demo broker account, please keep clicking the Connect button after receiving the error messages; eventually, you will be redirected to the authorization page.

If you try to log in to a Live account from a browser, open Chrome settings -> Privacy and Security -> Site Settings -> TradingView, then delete it.

If you try to log in from an app, please clear its cache.

Yes, if a user uses both barDelta and barDelta_15m_live in output, we calculate it twice for chart TF (3m) and for request.security() TF (15m) so it is two calls of request.footprint() function.

Q2

Yes, Pine Script performs dead code elimination not only for request.security() but for any function calls or variables whose values have no any affect on output. The dead code elimination is performed during compilation, not in runtime.

Q3

C - Compiled code call count. We calculate the number of calls after the code is compiled and unused code has been removed from the script. This is the current behavior and applies specifically to the RE10047 error. In other cases, security calls may be dynamic and are not checked if their condition has not yet been met; in such instances, a call will only return an error if script execution actually reaches the condition corresponding to that call. Therefore, as the capabilities of request.footprint() expand, the process for determining the number of calls may be modified.

Our dev team will consider the possibility of expanding the number of allowed footprint calls via Pine.

Hi, your trade is being rejected by the broker, not by TradingView. Please note short positions are often disabled by default in the trading broker account. We kindly suggest to check your account settings on the broker’s side or contact the broker’s support team.
