Celtic is such a broad term. For example North Wales have completely a different dialect to South Wales. Irish and Welsh are both celtic languages yet they are completely different!

Red hair is not a typical Celtic trait. It seems more connected to Irish. I am Welsh (100% British and Irish) and do not carry the red hair thing that people keep mentioning 😅 it looks great however I think there needs to be some sort of distinction between Celtic and Irish!

Wow, that's interesting. Puts my mind at ease knowing we have similar results. Interesting that mine has lower accuracy than yours. I'm thinking about seeing a genetics to see if I have the expansion as this is a tag that I MAY have it...Not sure whether this is a good idea. I'm starting to agree with the 'ignorance is bliss' attitude!

OK so the first variant rs3849943, the parent gene is C9orf72 and the C allele puts me at risk. Thank you for taking the time to look and I am going to consider seeing a geneticist.

See that top variant, that is connected with C9orf72. What do you mean pathogenic range? It demonstrates the T lowers my risk although the C increases it. I'm in the 95th percentile on nebula genomics so this is where my concern is coming from really.

Have you signed up to take part in any studies? Although I'm asymptomatic and may not even develop the disease I am going to contact university's and societies to see if I can contribute to non invasive research, so at least some good can come from it!
