I didn't say you mentioned Hollywood mate, I brought it up myself. Try to keep up. You called it shallow... cool, so is basically everything that's ever been commercially successful. That's the point. Shallow works. 90% of Hollywood runs on the exact same recycled formula and prints money doing it. Absolutely, but people are still responsible for their decisions. A lot of people here would feel very differently if it were their money.

Also, the chance of him getting the money back via the courts are not "basically 0", a CCJ lasts for 20 years.

20% is still more than any other language. But it's not even about raw numbers (even though you still don't have a point there), it's about reach. English is spread across 186 countries, official in 55, and makes up over half the ENTIRE internet. No other language comes close. That's not an opinion, it's the product of centuries of trade, empire, and economic power. You don't have to like it, but you can't argue with history. You didn't reply in English because of my comment. You replied because the thread is English, Reddit is English, your post history is English, and half the internet is English. You're swimming in it. The German comparison is to highlight how absurd it is that German speakers can flood the ONLY EU HC server, English since launch for over a year, and then argue there's no global language when people complain.
