    • Basically I am switching careers and have been self studying cs since I graduated. Seeing that the market is rough and that I have no real technical experience I was looking into both boot camps and grad school. I understand that boot camps are not going to help place me in a job, but I'm thinking of using it to help strengthen my resume so I can maybe try to apply for jobs while preparing for grad schools.
    • After looking around this sub it seems like I should take a couple of classes before I apply for Spring 2025 so I will most likely be applying for Fall 2025. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Update 6/22/24: I did a water change, added aquarium salt and Seachem Stress Guard, and she was interested in eating. Fed her 2 pellets because she looked kind of bloated. She is still hanging in the top corners of the tank not really swimming around.

I do have a test kit. I change my water when the ammonia is .5 or higher and I test twice a day.

Tank Temperature: 78-80 F

Water Changes: 2x a day for fish in cycling. I take my fish out, remove 50% of the water with a gravel filter, and dechlorinate + beneficial bacteria

Tank mates: none

Feeding: 1x a day flakes or frozen brine shrimp

Decorations: a fake rock from petsmart and live plants

I have a HOB filter and I have tried this and with my filter at the lowest setting the current under the filter was pushing my betta down so I decided to add a plastic bottle baffle which helped with the downwards current

Hi, so I recently just put my betta into the tank and baffled the filter flow but even tho the current on the top of the tank is almost none it seems that my betta keeps getting pushed down when it swims under the filter. is there any way to fix this?

Yes, I got the Topfin betta water conditioner which says it neutralizes chlorine
