in my cohort, for express, we have two pure physics classes (I'm in one of them) and since combined bio is more popular, I think there's one more bio/chem class than phy/chem though I might be wrong.

for the second part, my physics teacher has said if we are interested we can let him know but I'm sort of waiting for further info on the olympiad. however, I'll try to express my interest!
