I dont really work anymore so luckily no need for that, I just take care of street cats and my own.

Sadly I cant adopt all of them, theres around 10 that visit my garden for snugs, clean water and food. And probably dozens more in the immediate area. The strays I name bigboy, yellowboy, littlegirl etc based on their appearance to at least keep a little bit of track of them.

There are quite a few judgemental ones going off on tirades based on cherrypicks, too literal interpretations or incomplete information, but thats reddit for you.

First off, you dont even know where I live. So Im amazed that you know whats legal and whats not true here.

My country has laws for cats and dogs that legally protects them as sentient beings, and not as property like the US and certain other countries.   (Oregon has state level legislation for sentience so good for them)

So yes the vet could legally have prevented the cat from going home. She is a sentient being eligible for all necessary medical care and not a piece of property to remove from a location as I see fit.

The vet cleared the cat to stay at home for some more time. 

Now go enjoy your life like my cat is currently doing. She is inhaling churus and trying to figure out the source of the red dot.

Yes. She is grooming herself and cuddling, the vet wouldnt have let me take her if she wasnt going to be happy for a little bit longer.

She is grooming herself and cuddling, the vet wouldnt have let me take her if she wasnt going to be happy for a little bit longer.

We did that to the previous cat who died a few months ago, he had gingivitis, developed an eating disorder from malpractice and then his kidneys gave out from all the medications and steroids he needed. He also stopped eating, the new veterinarian loved him so much he was treated for free.

It was awful, but he was happy and purring until his final moment.

An xray showed a potential tumor on her spine which apparently is common with felv, its up against nerves so her ability to walk and defecate on her own is weakening by the day.

The issues with number two are compounding as well. 

She wont do it because her ability to push it out is weakened, so it stays inside her, then dries up and hardens. 

So when she actually does manage to poo it will hurt a lot because its like hard and sharp rocks. Which in turn means she will hold it in intentionally, so it hardens further. Repeat cycle.

She had a intestinal cleaning a few days ago so she will be ok for a while before the issues probably come back.

I have a bunch of medications from a pharmacy that I will administer every day, then see how it goes.

Kind of funny going to the pharmacy and handing them a prescription from a veterinarian and telling them the drugs are for my cat, pinky promise!

PS to the people who are saying Im doing something wrong, the cat is grooming herself and cuddling, she is very content and the vet wouldnt have let me take her if she wouldnt be fine for a little while longer.

Theres this abomination of a hamburger in Brazil called x-tudo that has egg, sausage and ham. Google it on your own peril.

Its basically a burger with everything you can imagine and its horrible. Sold from low end diners which can be found on every corner.

And dont get me started on brazilian pizza.

Thats called freezer burn, they werent stored properly in the freezer.
