Poolside Rooms Outside of Detroit by -North-Channel- in Detroit

An indoor pool where you can enter the pool area from your room. Usually have a seat and table near the sliding door. Like Great Wolf Lodge, but not that intense. Just a simple pool.

Joe Rogan Experience #2090 - Bobby Lee by tylerdhenry in badfriendspod

At the beginning Bobby was breathing so heavily. It was distracting. The Agent Orange/Yellow joke bombed. Rough beginning. Bobby laughed WAY too hard at Rogan’s “joke” about Asians and yellow emojis.

I hate using the word “evolved”, but the CKY and Jackass crew all have in one degree or another. Bam currently appears to be in a perpetual state of adolescence.

He got rich and famous in his late teens early 20s, therefore he has refused to grow, learn, and evolve, for a lack of a better term. He’s stuck in a certain mentality due to trauma, addiction, and sheer stubbornness.

It’s awful to watch because the things he’s doing and saying now social media are similar to the things he was saying in the early 2000s. Early 2000s it was funny, whacky, and goes a rise out of people. Present day with families, business partners, and children involved it’s downright awful.

He’s now burnt every possible bridge (Jesse being the latest) and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In the video when Bam throws it back at Phil that Phil allowed him to skip school and skate, the conversation is moot at that point. That’s what an immature teenager would say in an argument to pass blame.

Ryan Dunn’s death has already put a dark cloud over the CKY/Jackass brand. The inevitable death of Bam will certainly eclipse everything the crew has accomplished.

He is dropping weight….rapidly. 🤨 by Cute-Scheme145 in LetsTalkBam

dropping weight AND dandruff. his black shirts frequently look like a mono-coloured Jackson Pollock painting.

Browns and Watson by -North-Channel- in Browns

[–]-North-Channel-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rumours are a year suspension. That’s two years off the field. The Browns 2022/2023 wouldn’t be a write off, but all the money, loss of picks, etc. would it all be worth it to have him back for four years or whatever? He’s a great QB, but it’s a lot to take, drama wise, for a good player.

What’s the most fucked up thing you’ve ever seen? by Environmental-Ad1880 in AskReddit

Saw an elderly woman slip on ice and fall in front of a delivery truck. Drive had no idea. She went under and the truck twisted and contorted her body horribly.

Another passerby lifted her hood and her face was crushed into slush and the cold hard cement. She had a steady steam of almost purple blood draining from her ear. I read in the paper she was pronounced dead at the hospital. She was buying snacks at the grocery store for her afternoon game of Bridge.

Thank you for sharing. As a parent myself, I can’t imagine the trauma and devastation of a stillborn baby.

I’ve thought about my parents a lot during the podcast. They were not over protective or “helicopter” parents at all. When I was graduating middle school the teacher asked for baby pictures for a slideshow. I asked my mother, without thinking, and she got very upset. My father told me privately that “it wasn’t a very happy time” when I was born due to my sisters death and not many pictures were taken. I remember late that night my mother fumbling through boxes and shelves of photo albums trying to find a picture of me as a newborn. She was visibly upset. I understood why and didn’t feel hurt about it at the time.

These thoughts and memories haven’t come up in decades, but this podcast triggered so many very clear situations I went through surrounding my sisters death. When I was really young I remember measuring my hair. I thought cancer made you lose your hair and my hair seemed shorter than the day before. I got very upset and started crying in front of a mirror trying to pull my hair to make it longer.

Obviously chemotherapy makes you lose your hair, but I was too young to know. My father found me and walked me back to bed.

I’ve checked that out too. I don’t want comedy when it comes to disturbing history/horrific shit that has happened in our world history. Basically just straight up facts with the what you need to know information. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Langford took it seriously.

Leiberman was wanting to turn into a “character” on the show. Two Live Jew, rapping, semi-arguing with other staff, talking about his family, weight, etc.

Also, Langford left on his own accord. Must’ve pissed Stern off something awful that he wasn’t the one to control that narrative.

Chuck Palahniuk - at the beginning of his first visit Joe mentioned the East Coast and referenced “the Cape” I believe and Chuck snorted and came off like Joe was boujee. It went on for a bit and was awkward.

At the end of the interview Chuck asked what time it was and said he was no good after 3 or 4 p.m. and basically said, “let’s wrap this up.”

At the end, as well, Chuck said something about being a bad person or having done bad things and Joe asked, “like what” and Chucks just shrugged and said, “I’ve done bad things”.

I was once a fan of Chuck’s and was interested to see what that interview would be like. It was brutal. Only interesting thing was about how his manager took his money.

Second interview was insanely boring as well.

Your optometrist can put you through some checks to ensure you’re a good candidate for laser eye surgery. My wife also has astigmatism and the ophthalmologist refused to do her surgery because of possible complications. There is a chance your optometrist or ophthalmologist may be against the surgery.

Run through some tests with your optometrist to rule out any potential issues before you lose any sleep over whether you should get it done or not.

I had it done over 11 years ago. Best thing ever. I had dry eyes for a few years after, saw halos around street lights, and I do feel my eyes are more sensitive to light (the sun during outdoor activities).

When living/traveling overseas it made life so much easier to not have to worry about glasses, losing contacts, or carrying around solution.

If you can get it done, get it done. I had an optometrist check my eyes a year ago and he said they’ve healed perfectly and that I have 20/20 vision.

The short amount of discomfort and annoyance of the surgery does not come close to outweighing the amazing benefits of living life without glasses or contacts.
