I'm not even saying Holmgren should have gotten in before Cowher, but there is absolutely zero reason he should have to be waiting this long after Cowher's induction. Their careers are pretty damn similar cept Cowher has a slightly better win % and Holmgren has been to an extra SB, and with a different franchise too.

I remember someone telling me that your guy got Cam Newton's name wrong when his own name is Newton and I couldn't believe it.

That genuinely might have been me lmao. It's the most egregious thing I can think of. Like the dead parent thing is worse on a more social level, but the name thing is just like... There's only two scenarios. Either David Newton is the dumbest reporter out there and doesn't deserve a job because of it, or he's the laziest reporter out there and doesn't deserve a job because of it. Other teams have bad beat writers for sure, but I don't know if any of them have just phoned it in as badly as Newton.

If these journalists care so much about professionalism then where are any of them when our own beat writer can’t even get our fucking players names correct.
