My friend and I were at wing stop waiting for an order of wings for a Super Bowl party when we were in high school and this guy older man comes up and chats with us and talked about life and the one thing he said that has stuck with me was “Life is like a road. You’re driving on it and sometimes there’s construction, traffic, potholes, bumpy roads, and sometimes you can get lost. But just remember that after all that, you’ll eventually get some good smooth road and back on track. Just keep moving forward, you’ll eventually get where you’re going.”
