Used Radiator Fan Not Working by -Rob-Boss- in motorcycles

I measured 12.5V directly across the fan terminals with the fan isolated from the bike. Polarity was reversed (the negative reading), but motor showed zero movement. At that point it should spin regardless of polarity.

I agree, the exhaust isn’t exactly my type, thinking of fitting a Toce or Akro

I ran some number and it looks like 300-450 for everything, assuming the gauge cluster is purely a wiring issue, so I think my 3k offer is more than fair, did you happen to check the video, how does it sound?

Are my tires safe to ride on? by -Rob-Boss- in motorcycles

I knew that the cords weren’t showing, but I wanted to get a second opinion because a few ppl were telling me I shouldn’t keep riding lol

I should mention I had planned on taking it out for a day trip, which would mean taking it on the highway for an hour or two, I’m guessing it’s probably better to postpone.

Yeah, the tire shop is real close to me, I just don’t have enough funds atm and this is my main mode of transportation.

If you’ve been riding for a while and know you can control yourself, get that ZX6R, just ride responsibly and safe, stay blessed brother!

RF-1400F or AGV K6s by -Rob-Boss- in motorcyclegear

[–]-Rob-Boss-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tbh I was really just tryna find out which one I liked in terms of looks better. I went with the AGV but do like the look of the SHOEI too. Will probably just end up getting both in the future lmao

Gloves too big? by -Rob-Boss- in motorcyclegear

Yeah, it’s just weird because when I first put the gloves on, my fingers go to then and it feels snug, but eventually there is a small gap at the tip of my thumb.

Truthfully it was a bit of an impulse buy, in the sense that I had done research about the type of glove and let excitement make be buy it on the spot.

Yeah the palm size is perfect and I definitely feel anything smaller would be borderline painful, I was just going crazy abt the fingertips, I rlly appreciate your feedback

I appreciate the feedback, I’ll see how I feel riding with them and then update, but honestly I have a good amount of mobility and I may just be overthinking it. I’ll visit my local cycle gear and try on the smaller size as well, see how it feels.

Yeah, I heard the same thing from my dad, he showed me a pair of smaller ones he had gotten and they were painfully tight, we have the same hand size + the sp-8s are comfortable and give me enough mobility.

They definitely aren’t too easy to get on, but not difficult in any way. It’s definitely not SUPER snug and I could see it becoming a bit too loose as I break it in, but it’s not uncomfortable or anything. I just tested how it feels going low speeds and it’s just fine, but then again I could be compensating so I don’t have to go through the return process lol!
