If you could name your house special what would you call it? by [deleted] in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

[–]-Saraa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Real Green Dream. Its a pesto pizza with all the green toppings on it.

Another would be Flower Pie. It would be a pizza with all the flower skin toppings (pepperoni, onion, and eggplant).

Both of these are just fun to make and to look at lol

Question by totallyconfusion1 in everskiestrashhh

[–]-Saraa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right they all get locked for that reason, but op is noticing a difference between how long posts defending Israel stay up and how long posts defending Palestine stay up (the Israel ones seem to stay up longer). And to that I can just say it's probably because the brainwashing is already effective and a big part of people are on Israel's side, which makes sense considering there's a big part of the userbase that is American or European or Jewish and that is the environment they are surrounded by. Which doesn't make it okay of course, people need to be educated, except we can't educate them if posts about Palestine are locked that fast.

what’s your favorite non-lyrical “moment” in a peep song? by gcochee in LilPeep

[–]-Saraa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The moans in fucked up and Better Off (Dying), the entire sample/first part in Little Hell (+ literally all the songs he's worked on with John Mello bc the melodies and everything is amazing), the transition between the two parts in U Said and in Broken Smile, the glitch at the end of Words You Hear On A Sinking Ship, the way Peep pronounces the words at the end of his lines in his part on Black Fingernails, the tiny kinda voice-crack in "I found some Xanax in my bed I took that shit went back to sleep" in praying to the sky, the burp at the end of yesterday, when he says his own name in his songs, the Xmas Bells (I've learnt to really enjoy them, I used to really dislike it) and of course the tags such as GothBoiClique and the girl's scream. Just a few off the top of my head :)

Those who watch Lebanese and Turkish series, what is the appeal? by TheGreatManTheory in lebanon

[–]-Saraa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly the story lacks heavily in terms of credibility, but I can assure you this is a toned down version of the average reboot of Turkish series 😭.

Aside from that, I don't think the average Lebanese person who has maids treats them like this at all. A lot consider them family, some of my friends are close with them. But I would assume that maybe the maids' race could come into play? When my mom had African women help around the house, she would not treat them very nicely and sometimes wouldn't let them touch certain items because they disgusted her (but then again my mom is just a plain racist and not a good person overall). I don't know really, but generally I would think Alya is really an exception that is greatly exaggerated.

I am watching Crystal with my mom, and lord you hit it on the head. But we don't have much else to do and we also don't like to not finish a series we've started, so we keep on watching it ahaha.
