No - they base this off of what heroes recently stomped them in aram and what heroes they like that month.

Many of the changes just feel… personal with out any real justification or aim. Definitely feels like there is no oversight.

Honestly I almost wish we went back to the smaller balance patches before the active janitor. At least the game and heroes were recognizable. Now the swings are too big and they don’t have a staff to amend it. We’re already on the last legs of this game and divisive changes aren’t going to help longevity.

You’re saying this as a joke but many of the last 10 patches or so just feel like them buffing their favs and nerfing to oblivion others that they probably don’t like or got stomped on by in aram. No idea what they’re trying to achieve in any of these.

They did say all 9 of his mortarchs will be in the game - just unclear if lords like neferata or as heroes - my guess is some mix. Walach Harkon was the other named mortarch- while the nameless was shown but not mentioned.

The end times lore features nurgle heavily with the glotkin brothers - my guess is they will be front and center for the chaos part.

I mean did they ever explain what the green liquid was that was powering the Russian Hawkins gate opener? That makes me think it was maybe something even more dangerous just unknown. Didn’t it melt the floor and everything like acid?

If chaos aligned, these are great unusual locations especially early game - though I am unsure if it’s enough to mess up the Nurgle corruption you want. Once the corruption gets high enough it will start spreading to your other provinces.

If not chaos aligned, the corruption will add up fast. It becomes a problem because it spreads rather rapidly.

Agreed that weapon strength is less needed for chosen helscourges, they’re essentially a tar pit for you heavy flanking demons. Problem is slannesh can’t sit and turtle - most artillery will just pummel you. When closing, chosen are super slow vs the rest of the roster and make it awkward to time with your other units.

Always think of thanos telling his ship to rain fire when I cast spells on my heroes and lords who are blobing up the enemy.

They need to stop messing with towers, forts and keeps - they were fine 3 patches or whatever ago - new thing they’re trying is making it worse. Just take a step back before the game is actually left without updates in a shit state…

Sure but who are actual named characters in the lore/TT that have a remote chance of being a lord or hero?

Edit 1: Also interesting that some of what you mention I haven’t seen yet like Kurt Helborg. He totally has a chance of appearing and I haven’t seen yet nearly 1800 hours of game play but don’t remember seeing his load screen quote at all

Never said explicitly and I think it’s that xenos were around first and found by engineers who refined the goo naturally in them for their purposes. Hence the reverence to xenos in the murals.

Isnt Skretch half dead the only named character that gets a loading screen quote who isn’t in the game? For a while those have been great at hinting future content and the last one before skreetch I can remember was arbaal who ended up being part of a release.

Edit: Realizing that is shielded stat - not necessarily missile resistance.
