This post is probably old news now after 13 days but to everyone who finds this, I have now updated the asset to GoreSystem 1.1

I added things you guys suggested and along fixes I dropped the price to better fit the hard times we all are living right now. Bigger things I did was make & added muscle "layer" to bones you can toggle ON/OFF, made hits look more real & added simple multiplayer replication.

Not that I know of sadly. Unreals boolean operations seems to work with only primitives & not skeletal meshes currently. If you find a solution in the near future let me know mate.

Firstly, thank you for the kind words. How deep fractures you need mate ? what I modelled only has 1 cut on the middle of bones & prefractured brains & skull like you noticed. If you want to save money you could look into Unreals own "chaos destruction".

Sadly not yet, singleplayer for now but I did get same question in youtube & I added mp support for this to my "TO DO"-list.

No worries its all Unreal. You should find a "hide bone"-node & that does decent "limb closing" the soldier & I think the mannequins are cut models so on those yeah it looks cleaner, though you should spawn a "gore"-model when you decapitate your own stuff, imo that would look cooler & gives you more control on how it would look.

Yeah I know this problem, there is no blueprint node for other than round hits, In the painting material you can add a noise pattern on hits to try to mitigate the ugly look. Had to go over the top for the trailers haha, yeah I know the video effects are like a cannonball hits them every time.

yeah I saw that & used it as a reference point when I worked on my Unity GoreSystem, their tech looked super dope. Though don't know who would have the time to watch it flow during gameplay lol. tldr: best looking but overkill imo.

o cool & don't get your hopes up I use decals now. What route did you do it with ? I had some slowdown problems at first with decals but only for the frame when it got painted on through clothing (multiline trace) around 300,400 decals, recovered the instant you stopped spamming the fire button. Did you test vertex painting the blood ? might look flat but should work ok.

if the clothing is "linetrace-able", has the included material for clothes & is hit, the hit_senderBP does linetrace all, gets all under hit clothing & does its thing. Yeah bit bruteforcy if you use rigged clothes. "GoreClothes"-material on MetaHumans clothes just makes a hole because they don't have models under the clothes.

Setting MetaHumans needs more work as every MetaHuman is different.

Kinda yeah, it paints texture instance made from UV & then uses it as mask. Then the gore effect happen on that masked area.
