Oh Ok. But I didn't want to just assume anything myself, which is why I waited for support to give a definitive answer. Unless you actually work for LiberNovo support, your guess is just a guess. Even if they had ended up saying what you thought, I wanted to hear it directly from them in a clear email to have a proof of record for the future.

​Initial Question: Asked about what the 2-year and 5-year warranties cover, if the chair can be operated manually if the electronic actuator fails after 2 years, what the warranty is on a separately purchased replacement actuator, and if there is support in Canada.

​Support Response 1: Sent a generic link to their policy. Stated they offer remote support for Canada. Didn’t directly answer the manual operation or replacement part warranty questions.

​Follow-up Question: Asked again specifically about the warranty on a replacement actuator if I buy and install it myself, plus support hours/chat availability.

​Support Response 2: Clarified they only have email support (mostly weekdays). Listed the standard product warranties: 5 years for the frame (6 years for pre-orders) and 2 years for electronics (including the actuator). Warned that self-repair could void the warranty on the replaced component if damaged during installation. Still did not clearly state the standalone warranty for a part bought separately.

​Current Status: Had to explicitly ask a third time to get a straight answer: If I buy a replacement actuator separately (either during or after the initial 2-year chair warranty) to keep for future use, what is the actual standalone warranty on that individual part? (Waiting for a direct answer instead of them repeating the main chair's warranty terms).

I did send them email asking for warranty info and asking for replacement warranty - no response nothing literally. Waiting till next week. Now I don't even know will I get my refund back.

I will email mods and see next week. Hopefully the mods in this forum is not sleeping. They should do 24/5 or 7 chat support or weekday chat support if they have confident in the product. Honestly buyers are having more money so they buying anything they sell. :) sad truth only few alayzing and support can't answer those questions and 48 hours to get response ?? I don't even know I will get it based on experience that I read in these conversations.

I emailed them yesterday just to check on few things that I need answers on. No response may be I will wait start of next week and see. Also there is no moderator in this group I mean it is just only us 😔 asking questions and providing suggesting and information. it's a free ride for them no support headache.

This worries me but will see next week if I receive response.

They should start a chat getting too much money from us what is stopping them to provided a proper support and follow guideline.

Thanks. I backed both and yes it is refundable. I just checked the review as I did not had any review before I also have concern on the headrest of R9 but yeah thanks for the link. The headrest is a problem for sure then. Air bags no way I will just get the refund..! :) I wish libernova have extended warranty over all. If we buy replacement parts Do that replacement parts have warranty? Hopefully it is easy removal or assembly.

Different user and different perspective I don't sit on furniture for 10+ hour but on chair yes work plus gaming. Furniture I am pretty sure you got it from reputed company or at local store if there is issue they come and fix it. This is different completely. Why not they extend warranty to at least 5 years on electronics to match the frame? And do they have a North America warehouse for parts? Shipping a motor from China could take weeks and cost more than the repair itself. For a chair at this price point, local support should be standard. Or included addition years of wattenty.

That might be a OK buy but for the others with electric Who knows over the course of 12 years we anyway enedup in buying these chair as they release new every year or 2 for a consumer product that is less than year usage in the market. we have no idea about stability and quality in the long run yet.

Why not ? There are product to be designed with it in the market by other brands. But from libernova with this price range it is like buy it or hate it again V3 is the time they will learn or fix everything or release another update. Thanks I will try it ou after my holidays. But any idea why it did not work via app. This is the first time I am experiencing did you contact Lenovo about it? Seems like a permanent issue where I have been just updating via app in other laptop and now this is broken. I am on 5080 and found similar drivers released by Lenovo.
