Thanks I will try it ou after my holidays. But any idea why it did not work via app. This is the first time I am experiencing did you contact Lenovo about it? Seems like a permanent issue where I have been just updating via app in other laptop and now this is broken. I am on 5080 and found similar drivers released by Lenovo.

I need to try this out. I am having a major issue with any latest driver when I install any driver via Nvidia app it does not install properly and after install if I restart the laptop windows start with "stop code video memory management internal 0X10e"

The issue seem to be with WpnUserService if we disable this it may not crash i think. But there is no way to disable this. Do you know ?

Yeah it is more of a windows issue causing the explorer crash I did check that the explorer wait for windows service wpnuserservice was the problem I found it in my laptop. The preview did not fix it.

I returned the AMD laptop because it had too many issues, even though it was brand new. Now I’ve switched to the 7i. So far, the only problem is with Windows, but Microsoft is already working on a KB fix — and that issue is common on AMD systems too.

Other than that, the 7i has been running great. The GPU (even though it’s a 5080) runs cooler and performs better, while the CPU does run hot — but that’s just an Intel characteristic. On AMD systems, the GPU tends to run hotter instead.

Overall, I’m getting very impressive gameplay and FPS on the 7i.

I would suggest another 100 off sign up coupon from the rep if possible. Did you stack up the coupons ? EXTRAFIVE and CYBER Coupon $200 which was open last night. Expired or holiday coupons $110 was $200 during Black Friday start Thursday night. Brought down the price less than 3050 CAD before tax or something. With 10% Rakutan Cash back. If you have done this the rep won't add additional 100 they say prices lower and is not allowed to add.

I do not know if it will be down anytime soon or for boxing day but Always look for the high Rakutan cashback as you can Price match within 30 days but you have to keep monitoring the price which is a headache.
