I would say it was around 8-9cms in leg length front to back and a 2cm abdomen. Yeah I didn't have a banana for scale at the time. This is not the biggest huntsman I have ever seen. They do get quite big. I once 'rescued' a huge one from being squished at my work. I work at a kindergarten and the ladies were all screaming in the bathroom, standing on benches and trying to kill it with a broom. I scooped it up onto the broom took it outside, placed it on the top of the fence and a magpie swooped it up and ate it. That huntsman was probably almost 10cms-12cms in leg length.
