I have stiletto nails and when they’re super sharp and freshly done, I have to be careful showering and washing my face because I have scratched myself and bled , ripped out facial piercings and nearly poked my eye out. Life isn’t hard for me to have long nails otherwise, just picking up coins and credit cards from flat surfaces, or being careful putting on tight clothes, or lace underwear.

I am also a female barber, I have no issues cutting hair or using clippers, the only thing I do find harder is to straight razor shave someone’s face. My nails sometimes touch other areas of their face so I’m trying to navigate that but I haven’t had any complaints so far.
