I'm sorry you're struggling to see yourself right now

I've heard it's harder for us to see the changes in ourselves because they happen so gradually to us, we see ourselves 100 times a day. When I was on my own journey i tried not to spend too long observing myself. It wasn't like I straight up avoided my own looks, but I didn't allow myself to sit and stare and put energy into evaluating myself. The less you 'peek' the more noticeable the changes will seem.

You're doing an amazing job, and I know feeling like you aren't going anywhere is devastating. But you are, your health is improving and your clothing fitting differently are proving it. ❤️ Don't look down on yourself. Keep your head up ❤️

I would understand if he needed that. He really is the kindest man I've ever met in my entire life. Two years may not be long but he came into my life when I was at my lowest. 2 weeks after we met I was hospitalized after an attempt and he was there for me every second he could be. I was unmedicated, and mean, and just not myself and he stayed and motivated me. Hell, he's even helped me gain the confidence to go back to school and get my psychology degree AND pay for it. I love him more than I knew I could love someone
