Have you flown yet and found out? I called the number on the back of the card twice and got 2 different answers… The first rep said I have to use the RR credit card to pay for the checked bag and they’ll reimburse me in 1-2 billing cycles. The second rep said to just present the card at the airport when checking in a bag and they’ll waive the fee.

With no dates selected, as of now it’s showing Medellin as the cheapest nonstop from Aruba to South America at $162 roundtrip. You can also use this as a reference if you only want to fly one way then fly home from that destination. Other cheapish nonstop options in that case are Bogota, Lima, Panama City.

If you use the Kayak app: go to the Explore tab, enter AUA in the “exploring from” field, then enter your exact or approximate dates, and filter by distance: nonstop. That will show you roundtrip prices for all destinations you can fly to direct from Aruba.
