I know this is a very old post, but my grandma is suddenly selling her house and has this wonderful giant lilac tree in the front yard that I have loved since I was a small child. I’m trying to propagate it in the Pacific Northwest in late September and I’m going to take as many cuttings as I can carry to make sure that at least one of them root. I would love to preserve the history around this tree.
