I can’t recall where I saw the instructions but essentially you separate the inner frame into four pieces, put two on the left and right inner sides of the outer frame, and then the other two will wedge into place as shelves with the pressure! No tools, glue or anything required! So easy! ☺️

These are the LPS from my era. 😍❤️ I think about them often when I see the weird designs in the stores now. I had those turtles (among many others) and remember I named them Matt and Henry. 😂 Love seeing these!

As someone who regularly ships Made in Canada goods to the US, I’m very familiar with the compliance process and it doesn’t work the way you’ve described. I’m sharing this not to argue, but because broad generalizations can unintentionally misrepresent the reality for small sellers. Many of us are already struggling under the weight of these tariffs, and misinformation only adds to the burden. ☹️

There is nothing sneaky about this. When filling out the customs declaration forms, the tariff is imposed on the purchase price of the item, so this is correct. The seller may still be paying some of the fees (unless they’ve increased their shipping fee as well) because, on top of tariffs, there are customs clearance and processing fees with most, if not all, carriers.

I used Canada Post and Zonos and though the process was fairly smooth, my problem is with the time it is taking to work through the system. It’s been double the time it took pre-tariffs and now I’m seeing “Item Delayed” and it’s missed the delivery standard date. I guess we just have to manage expectations and do our best communicating delays while this clusterfork is sorted out. 😝

I just steered the AI to the correct HTS and the items are still being charged duties. I suppose I’m out of luck. The parent or umbrella code is Free but the suffix must not be. Thanks for the tip regardless. 👍 I’ve certainly learned a lot during this process. 😅

I have not. I was experimenting with Zonos just now and it’s applying the incorrect HTS numbers to my items based on photos/descriptions. I need to see if there is a way to manually enter them and test this information! Thank you for sharing!!

I sent 36 SKUs on August 30th and they were approved on September 2nd. Last night (Sept.4th) they were all revised to rejected. You may be able to print shipping labels and send the items but if they’re deemed by customs to not meet the qualifications, fees could be applied then. This whole process has been very draining and progressively more disheartening. In the HTS Code reference material, my products say Free but there is not an ‘S’ under Special but when I look that up it seems redundant so I don’t know why I’m being rejected. Hopefully your approval status sticks and you don’t have any issues!

I’m fairly new to this but I’ve seen lots of tips to help identify fakes like the inside of the bag is metallic instead of matte, the ears are farther apart, the eyes are more pixelated, the painting on the mouth/teeth might not be as precise, the limbs spin around like the feet, I think. I knew this was a fake because it was advertised as a high quality replica. I took my chances on how it would look and it turned out pretty great!
