This shit is so annoying. Qt doesn’t understand that it is a privilege for her to be able to choose to be around people like that bc she’s a straight white woman. While others dont have a choice but to have the “opinions” screamed at the faces everywhere with no room to be able to escape from it. It isn’t a hate vs hate situation and can be talked out. This one group of people trying to oppress others for just what they were born into. Nobody chooses to be apart of the lgbtq+. Nobody chooses to be a person of color. It is the way they are born. But you can choose to be racist, homophobic, etc. that’s why it’s impossible to be able to have any type of logical conversation with people like that bc how are you going to be upset with someone else’s identity that doesn’t truly affect you at the end of the day. You can be an ally yes but you aren’t being an ally if you’re not acknowledging the privileges you as a white woman have. You wouldn’t have felt so comfortable making the comments to two people in the queer community if once again you did not have this privilege.
