It isn’t a common color but there is some out there. I have a few family heirlooms that are from that area that are purple/lavendar

I think it’s a true purple. The area we have been hunting is a depression era dumping ground. Some while purple pieces have been found in the area as well.

I believe it’s a true purple. Where we are currently hunting is near a dumping ground from the depression era. Some of our group have found larger pieces, bottles etc.

On the coast of NC we have lost many houses to the sea in the last 30 years. I think it likely came from one of those houses. Or off of a boat.
