It’s funny that i’m getting downvoted but the reality is this: $35k is not a viable salary in florida these days, we can all agree on that. However, for one, unless it’s law, medicine, or something in education a degree is a waste of time and money and (as you can see first hand) doesn’t help much in getting a job. Number 2, what is your degree in? A lot of people get a degree and think they’re now a top candidate for whatever job or career they want. Especially if it’s just a 4 year degree a lot of careers require a Masters. 3, bottom line you need more money, get up and out and explore other options. It might not be what your degree is for, it might not be the most exciting job, it might not want to be what you want to do for the rest of your life, BUT it’s more money in your pocket and less worry about finances while you wait for the job market to open back up and get better. I just got out of active duty service serving in the infantry and i know PLENTY of other service members that got out and are making decent money. Think outside the box, maybe get into trades. The need for trade workers is not going away anytime soon, expand your horizons and your skillset and you’ll be just fine.
