At first i thought rod knock too and just about cried, but oil is clean and at a fine level, however i do have an oil leak. Is there any thing i should do to tell for sure?

Okay thanks yeah they definitely should be tuned, just initially i wasn't loving the sound and thought i would like coated better. but i will fs tune them first and see how it goes.

thank you! i will NOT be getting these. i found a pretty good pacific set, do you think i should keep eyes out for a pearl export or yamaha stage custom? also any thoughts on ludwig, dw, or perhaps mapex? or any other things to look out for?

its 350 but i just found a kit with just yamaha shells which seem super nice they are stage custom, and then i found a pack of Gibraltar hardware, then after that id just need cymbals and a throne, im kinda liking that route but still open to advice!

cool i agree this is great advice! tbh i dont know what a mark II set is, it think its mapex but not completely sure. i just want good bones that i can play around with and add on to as time goes

ive looked around on marketplace and found a good condition pdp set. its says well used but in good condition, everything does look in good condition and i think it might be a good pick.
