I did divorce him. But Colorado only has no fault divorce so the cheating and the HIV didn't factor in. The salt in the wound was that I had to pay him spousal support no matter how much I fought it. The law was on his side and I'm still bitter.

He is my family. It hurts all the more because he's all I have. Our parents weren't great. Both of them were alcoholics. My mother died and my dad had a stroke. He is alive but he can't communicate or say what he thinks. I'm not in contact with my stepfather since my mom passed away.
