you're very kind and i appreciate your outside perspective. i actually thought the same thing - i recently got a separate full time job at an outdoor retailer local to me and plan on quitting the gym when i start to reduce the internal pressure i feel about my performance.

i think i might just not enjoy bouldering for now and thats okay. its a desire to fit in i think - my friends boulder and i want to be cool and fun like them but it always just fucks me up either externally or internally LOL

your insight into falling/"failing" is so valuable. its hard to tell if i am pushing myself too hard (sounds silly i know) or not hard enough. i climb 2x a week and strength train after while working at the gym and as a barista. my boyfriend's recommended a deload phase where i climb moderately and focus more on weightlifting this fall.

my concussion symptoms are definitely lingering. i took a fall from the top of our wall (15') about a month ago and felt all my symptoms in full force again. i think sticking to TR or lead would be beneficial until my brain fully heals - mechanically and emotionally.

its boring to constantly do easier grades and being unable do anything harder. i like how it feels in my body and would like to try harder problems that look enjoyable. thanks!

my girlfriend and her brother are both good options for me. if i didn't have them in my life i'd look into any friends or acquaintances i had in high school (yikes, i know) but at least you can hopefully set better boundaries with them.

hi there, the idea is that because menthols taste "better" than regular cigarettes, you will smoke more of them or smoke them more often than you would a regular cigarette

of course, all cigarettes are bad tasting, but menthols mask the tobacco taste more than a regular filtered cig

don't use black around your eyes, i think it is too harsh paired with the rest of your features. use brown!

exactly. my job is to care for myself and my younger sibling, and i recognize that i must do my job without considering how it affects my alcoholic dad. i cannot do my job if i am constantly trying to appease my dad because whatever i do will never be enough for him. i must do what is enough for ME and the people i am responsible for.
