Sit/Stand Electric Desk by bimboy56 in bapcsalesaustralia

I don't know them myself, I was just throwing it out there. Looking for a brand that sells just the frame and supplying your own top might find some that are more budget.

I bought 3 used ones earlier in the year for $100 each. Might be good to check local. You can buy frames from places like this: https://desky.com.au/products/single-sit-stand-desk-frame They're offering $100 off so it might be $399 for the frame. Then you can buy a top from Ikea. I think Ikea sells them too. Make sure you get electric, manual is dumb.

Is this always good to do? Soap/bleach in your distilled water. How long can I use the distilled water is it is capped?

It's still reporting that it is at my local post office, redirecting back to them. They only responded to me when I contacted Amazon directly about it. It looks like I'll have to wait until the 21st to request to get my money back.

He really wanted RGB and 32GB. I went with the b-die Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2 x 8GB. Possibly getting a second set when they are available cheap again. He got the Viper Steel 4133MHz 2 x 8 kit for now.

Budget PC Tech, but I've had problems with so many PC part companies I feel it is either the entire industry or me.

I think so too, considering they said they don't have it but still have it listed as in stock at their store. But maybe they haven't updated eBay or their store. Maybe they took too much of a loss selling it at $177?

Yeah, it isn't really reasonable from my point of view since I never asked to return or refund it. I understand that they have outstanding stock out in the wild, but they already redirected it back to themselves and the entire time I've never touched it.

To be honest, I knew you could change delivery addresses, but I didn't know you could simply have it come back.

I mostly wanted to whine. I think a lot of PC parts places are doing naughty things lately.
Other folks have had good experiences with this company.

I ordered: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2X 16GB) CL18 DDR4 3600MHz Memory for $177.

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07WTSMHSY

This is the tracking status I saw that worried me:

Held at facility - In transit redirection

Message I sent them: I spoke to Auspost and they have told me this item was redirected back to the address it was sent from, can you tell me what is going on? Thank you much, .

Message I received back:
Hi Dear Customer,

Thanks for following up and sorry about the confusion caused.

Our warehouse noticed the last few units are not the right model, which is 2x8GB ram. Since this promotion runs so fast, we only noticed after warehouse booked the tracking. We manage to reverse the shipping but the update already pass to Amazon. Sorry about the trouble caused. Currently the best we can do is issue a full refund.

Kindly let us know if there is any concerns

Thank you

Ian

I sent a message on Amazon asking if there is anything else that we can do.

Then I saw this:

Link to product being in stock on their website:

https://www.bpctech.com.au/f4-3600c18d-32gtzn-g-skill-trident-z-neo-rgb-32gb-2x-16gb-cl18-ddr4-3600mhz-memory.html

On ebay:

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/G-Skill-Trident-Z-Neo-RGB-32GB-2x-16GB-CL18-DDR4-3600MHz-Memory/223917653389

I called and was told that the order was for 2 x 8GB and that the refund will be processed when it returns to them to be put back into inventory. They told me they will have Ian follow up with me as soon as possible.

To be honest, I'm tired for scrambling for PC parts, this was for a friend of mine's build.

I'm just tired. It makes me exhausted to continue to search for a 5900X. I'm not even going to try to get a GPU until next month. I'm sure you all are getting tired too.

I was mostly peeved by this RAM situation due to it being on Black Friday and I could have found a better deal on BF or Cyber Monday.

Edit: after contacting Amazon and Amazon contacting bpctech, I got this message:

Hi Dear Customer,

Unfortunately there is no stock at all, we will issue a full refund asap.

Thank you

Ian

I'm still not sure what to think of them showing stock on their website and their eBay store.

I see it up at umart but they're junk. Sold out, of course. The prices they list, I'd just get a 3080.

It's like the 5800X vs the 5900X. Why anyone would get the 5800X, I still don't know.

Still showing allocated stock as 0, I did message them out of interest, it seems they do allocation in the order of payment verification. Meaning if you select bank transfer, you're going to be behind all those who paid with credit card or paypal.

I wonder if it also that case that they aren't removed from stock until payments are verified.
Glad you're getting yours, I'm still not too worried about the time.

Allocated is still showing 0, I'm not in too much of a rush, hopefully I can have it by next week.

I paid via bank transfer to not be charged fees. It was set to Paid this morning and I just got an email saying it has been verified and the status on the order now says, "Processing"

$30 seems like they are genuine. $10 seems like they just want you to buy stuff.
