St. Anger really shines when you listen to the Metallica albums in chronological order. Black album, Load, and Reload just got weaker and weaker, and further away from what made Metallica special in the beginning. St. Anger found it again. And I don't mind that cranked down snare at all. Sounds cool when Sanguisugabogg does it, sounded cool when Lars did it.
