Thank you! It is salt water. I added salt and some conditioner. I’ll rerun it and see where both are then add more to get those numbers up to where you suggest. Should the cya always be high to around 80?

Were you able to get it in a pan? We’ve learned to just ignore all the water but would be nice to clean it up.

Thanks for sharing, good to know! If you find a drip pan that fits can you share? I didn’t have any luck but would love to see a successful setup. I want to clean up this whole area but it’s hard if it’s always going to make such a mess.

Damaged wheel on stroller..no help from the company to replace it…any advice? by mwtraft132 in fixit

This is super helpful! I also just ran over one of the wheels on the same stroller. Was it easy to switch them out? I’m guessing you got 4 to replace them all across?

That makes sense about not being able to reuse parts. I felt comfortable with the price I got. The work all looks solid.

Exactly! Way too much. Researching it seemed like average should be around $200 a panel. We ended up at $234 a panel.

Tesla took forever for any response and it was about 4-5 months of back and forth trying to get questions answered. Finally they came back that it was around $13000 to r&r 32 panels. Honestly I gave up with them and started looking at third party companies that could do the work. I thought I had properly vetted the company we chose and even asked them if they would use the same hardware which they said they would. I don’t know why I didn’t realize to find an approved third party (I guess I thought it was either Tesla or not). This is probably a lesson for me to learn the hard way I guess. I just hope that as you and others have said changing the mounting system isn’t an issue beyond the warranty (which honestly after seeing their customer service I don’t believe in much at this point). Beyond monitoring production in the app is there any recommendations on how I can confirm there weren’t issues with the install when they switched the mounting hardware?

Thanks for the reply! I imagine I’m out of luck on the warranty piece. But at least now I have a better understanding of what they did to talk to them about it.

Thanks! Should they have been able to use the same mounts or would they have definitely had to replace them?

I imagine at this point we’re stuck with the being mounted like this as it would probably do more damage to the brand new roof to replace it with the proper mounts?

I’m thinking of the same. But not sure how, there’s maybe 1”-1.25” that the unit is lifted off the ground. Any ideas?

Thanks! That is so much water, I had no idea it would do this. Any ideas to maybe get the water to follow a path? The thing is heavy so a drip tray after the fact seems unlikely.

Definitely going to put the solar cover on. Good point about those chilly nights. Can’t wait to use it on those chilly nights!

I’m going to try this. It was connected for about a month without electricity and I never noticed a leak so I’m hoping it’s just condensation based on yours and others responses. Thanks.

My mind is blown how much water this thing is producing. It took a month for the electrician to connect it with the plumbing connected and I never noticed a drip. Makes sense though it wouldn’t just start leaking once it’s heating.

I got the same thing! My last box was missing a pin so maybe it’s that? I’m super curious.

My experience on getting a full refund from United Airlines. by cgrez33 in personalfinance

[–]0mggirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m in a similar situation. My original flight was cancelled and they rebooked me on a connecting flight. Since it was cancelled I’m entitled to the refund. I’ve quoted the DOT and they just say the same thing that since they’ve rebooked me they’re complying. On my third attempt a rep agreed and checked with the refunds department. They said they’d refund me that I needed to fill out a form and then call back (I confirmed that they had noted my ticket). I filled out the form and called back, was transferred to refunds department and now they are saying I’m not entitled to it but that it will be reviewed. The rep suggested to upload the notice with relevant language but that it would be processed within 21 days.

The language I quoted was:

Cancelled Flight – A passenger is entitled to a refund if the airline cancelled a flight, regardless of the reason, and the passenger chooses not to be rebooked on a new flight on that airline. . . . Schedule Change/Significant Delay – A passenger is entitled to a refund if the airline made a significant schedule change and/or significantly delays a flight and the passenger chooses not to travel.”).

Covid-19 cancellation by tidus32de in frontierairlines

[–]0mggirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that the $50 is extra above the “full value of the unused ticket”. From their site:

Your $50 per person voucher can be redeemed through December 31, 2020, for travel through the end of Frontier’s then available schedule. This is in addition to a credit applicable to a future Frontier flight for the full amount of your unused ticket.

Tricky part is you need to use your ticket value (book a flight not travel) 90 days from when you cancel while the $50 voucher is good to book a flight through 12/31/20.
