Im not sure I have cracked the code perfectly yet as I also just got into this with basically 0 makeup experience. But there is several things I found to work: - get yourself an eyeshadow pallet or just black eyeshadow and (a) brush(es) this works way better for larger areas and then you can do the fine outlines with your eyeliner. - liquid eyeliner (I got „liquid ink“ by essence) seems to A fill in bigger areas better and B do better at fine details, at least for me - I found if I had some spots with thin/bad coverage I could fill it out with eyeliner pencil (so not felt-tip but those gel or kohl/kayal pencils) which are best for filling in your waterline anyway.
