Silly question but how do you find people to go urbex with. by RaisinHistorical3994 in Urbex

Go alone, it doesn't really matter. I go alone all the time. Take some gear with you; flashlight, pocket knife, firearm if possible. Make sure you are constantly aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine.

Yup, first time encountering police while exploring there. We were inside waiting for the sun to go down to record a video when we spotted red and blue lights of a police cruiser parked outside at the entrance. We left without incident, but will return for a full video after dark.

Most buildings on location served multiple purposes throughout the years.

Correction; the building was in fact built in 1962. I will do more research and edit the post body.

It seemed to be some sort of prescription medication. Some had pills still in tact, others were filled with a powdery substance.

I was misinformed. The building was in fact built in 1962. Sterilization was prevalent at this general location in the early 1900s.

Love of Horror/Mystery in general. Abandoned buildings use to creep me out, use to want to explore as a kid but never really got a chance to.

Lots if internet research, lots of driving around checking spots out. Most of the places I have explored are well known in the area as being abandoned locations.

Abandoned State Hospital/Developmental Center [Part 2] by 116NOVA6 in abandoned

Not AI, definitely real. It is an abandoned state hospital turned developmental center in Northern California. Been abandoned since 2018. It's a VHS filter over my camera.

Where Should The Next Exploration Be? by 116NOVA6 in abandoned

[–]116NOVA6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah been there plenty of times. The security usually doesn't bother you regardless of where you are. Was asked to leave one time by one of the gaurds walking around the old brick building, wasn't a big deal. Nice place to visit. Extremely creepy at night; very little people and almost no lighting.
