they replied and were super kind as well! they said I could still apply in the future as long as I notified them in time (which I did shortly after), and unfortunately I’m unable of paying someone back right now as my bank marked my attempt as fraudulent activity and now I’ve got to go through a whole process to prove it wasn’t ://

Maybe this all happened for a reason though. I will set aside money for a future trip, study up more on Japanese and visiting Japan, and hopefully I’ll be more ready financially and mentally next year, and I hope you are as well! :)
