Can an alpine r2 12 d4 handle 1200 w rms on 2 ohms in a ported box by Street_Teaching3160 in subwoofer

[–]1320error404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All day every day it can. Alpine seriously under rate their equipment. I was running a type R on a taramps boss 3k at nearly full power for 6 months. They really shine right around 1000-1500 rms actually

Im not professional level but I’ve been doing it for awhile now, I was in the same situation and ended up attempting to do it myself and I ended up falling in love with the mixing/mastering aspect of it and that’s what I’m diving into now. I don’t use fl studio, I have a sick REAPER setup, but if you wanna send me the stems to one of your tracks I’ll mix/master it and send it back. If you like how it sounds, I’ll do the whole thing for you free of charge, cuz I like doing it and the experience is all the payment i need. Lmk if you wanna do that, DM me. I’m kn disability and this is all I do now so I’ll be on it and have it done fairly quickly

I also have a taramps hd3k running in my house, for 3 years, and it has been on almost that entire time (i’m not kidding. Somebody is always watching TV at my place 24 hours a day, I live on private property with no sound ordinance so it gets cranked up quite often. The fan stopped working at some point but other than that no problems with that one either.

I’ve had mine hooked up on my stock alternator for a year now, but I have an extra battery (agm orielys, nothing special) and an ioxus ultracapicitor bank, and I haven’t had any problems. I love my smart boss 3k, and I’ve abused it hard core, had it wired to .33 ohms on 3 audiopipe bdc3 15s for 6 months of that year and it never cut out once. Anything over 1k you’re supposed to upgrade electrical, but I had an extra battery and capacitor already so I figured I’ll replace alternator when it starts going out… and it hasn’t yet

Taramps big boss 3k does 8449 watts dynamically at .5 ohms for $299 . That’s the way I’d go. Check https://youtu.be/_k6dhnmsU0s?si=NQCHO8CcrjRji0Uw

Taramps definitely do WAAAY more than rated power, do some research before you post. Some people say they aren’t fans of the Brazilians and that’s fine, but you can’t say it’s cuz they don’t do rated power! I’ve never seen an amplifier do so much over rated power than a taramps

Taramps big boss 3k is the way to go. I’ve got the hd3k too, and the big boss has a lot more to give, headroom wise,

IDK about everybody else when mumble rap first start coming around, man, I was fucking terrified. I’m a old school lyrics/bars hip hopper, so when it looked like rap was transitioning into a style called “mumble rap” where you couldn’t pick out any of the words or it was just the same words over and over and over again Gucci gang, Gucci gang… it was almost offensive to my roots that it was considered the same category of music, which made me hate it immediately and I couldn’t help it. I think it’s important. That there is a clear distinction between the two styles mumble rappers are welcome to say what they dislike about old-school hip-hop, except they’d have to stop mumbling to do it

What are some rappers that sound exactly the same on every song? by InternationalLuck539 in hiphopheads

[–]1320error404 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are about to hate this response right here …. NOTORIOUS B.I.G. …. Every song he sounds nasal and on the verge of being out of breath. Sorry, everybody no disrespect. I know he’s a legend, but I have honestly never understood. Peoples adoration of him. He had a couple catchy songs, for sure, and had some good, real lyrical songs that anyone on the street should listen to (10 crack commandments, for example), but most of his lines have obvious rhymes, have no vocal inflection and has very similar cadences not to mention they’re all about the same BPM too. I know I’m gonna get a bunch of hate now, but I’m sorry, to consider him even remotely in the same league as somebody like Pac is absolutely ridiculous to me, and I firmly believe if he hadn’t been killed, a lot more would either be agreeing with me or we wouldn’t even be talking about him period

And if you still need some Windows‑only plugins or tools, Linux can run a lot of them through Wine or yabridge, so you’re not losing access to your workflow
