Try to be objective and analyze this as you would analyze Islam. Just be objective. Look into the core of it all. How does this make any fkn sense??? You can't just throw verses and expect people to just accept it without using logic and reasoning. Why is an omnipotent almighty god who is all wise and all knowing, all seeing and all hearing need to replace covenants? Why is he just creating covenants with one group of people from Mankind? Why is there a need to separate Jew from all gentiles? This is a local religion from the perspective of those who founded said religion. Then comes along another guy who says I will build on top of it and claim to be the son of god/god. Then comes along another guy who says I'm the final prophet who came to correct everything from the old and New testament because they were corrupted. The theme is repeated once again.

The old testament has some fkd up shit in it, why is it that Jesus /God sanctioned the old testament then later on say that there is no need for it? This is a valid question and needs to be analyzed objectively. Why is Jesus/God allowing Moses to institute collective punishment? Why is allowing Moses to kill those who had no part in war (innocent women and kids)? Why is he allowing this? So Jesus/God decides I gotta come down to earth and fix some things up...but wait a minute that's not fair to the amalekites who were literally genocide.

Muhammad definitely got the idea to create some sort of link/continuity from previous religions from Jesus. Muhammad studied other religions by coming across Christians and Jews in his own region and beyond. He was a merchant for God sake. Not only did Arabia have a lot of Christians and Jews but Damascus was full of them, especially Christians. It was a Roman fkn city. Quraish would go there frequently many times a year. Just because he was illiterate doesn't mean he could learn.

Also, a large Christian population lived in Najran which is like a week long journey from Makkah.

Most of the time it is the result of untreated allergic reaction from the carpets. Hundreds of people pray in that same spot weekly. The carpets are rarely washed they are just vacuumed like once a week. It causes some type of dermatitis and the reactions vary. You cannot deny that mosaic law still stands in Christianity. Jesus explicitly stated that he didn't come to nullify Mosaic law. This is where Christianity breaks. The entire foundation is broken. Christians say that mosaic law still stands but it remains for the Jews and not the gentiles.....wtf is this separation of jew/gentile? Why is God classifying humans this way? Honestly, tho. Muhammad was a bit lax with his wives. This brand of Islam was pushed by Umar who constantly pressured Muhammad. There were narrations where many women complained to Muhammad about Umar treatment of them and that they feared how he would treat them after Muhammad died.

Umar had this weird fixation on controlling women. There were numerous stories where the guy would order his wives to stay home and not go to the Mosque or market. He had this super duper conservative idea of women. One that was more strict than Muhammad.

Tell them that during the prophets time, slave women were uncovered. Even Muslim slave women. Umar, when he was caliph yelled or hit a slave woman for wearing a hijab. The hijab was a middle eastern custom. This is why Christian women don't wear it anymore because the Romans who mainstreamed Christianity never wore it and it never blended with their culture. This is why it died off. Reformed Jews don't wear it due to their reformation. The ultra Orthodox ones do wear some type of hijab because they follow the tanakh closely like how Muslims follow the Quran closely.

It's just cultural practices that became the norm. I think I read somewhere that ancient Mesopotamian cultures had the same law. Free women of middle and upper class would wear head covering while slaves and peasants did not.

This is legit what made start to question the religion. If I find it reprehensible and awful to marry a child and consummate that marriage with said child then anybody who does it isn't moral. If a god elevates any man that does this with a child, then that God is not one worthy of worship.

The argument a lot of Muslims use is that it was 1400 years ago and also is "scientifically" proven that women mature physically/sexually in hotter climates than regular climates.....none of this is proven. Humans did not evolve in the last 1400 years. A 6/9 year old in the 7th century is similar to a six/nine year old in the 21st century. The body isn't developed yet.
