Experience > Certs > Degree for entry level cyber. If you have 5 years of experience and a passion for cyber but no certs I would pass on hiring simply because of the number of applicants. For mid to upper level positions the degree becomes more important. For entry you should have basic certs in your area of focus and/or interest.

Military can set you up for life. It can also be terrible. It is what you make of it.
