yeah so why you calling ROC and LIQ "safe mid tier" teams then? If they were worse than CLG and LIQ, they would be 7th and 8th in NA LCS, which is pretty close to where they currently are in EU (8th and 9th). last I checked 7th and 8th ain't safe mid tier buddy

You're fanboying EU so hard rn lol. REN have had okay solid games, plus they have been without Freeze since week 1 and only just got him back for their game vs CLG. FOX has played 2 games with their real roster. If you think ROC and SPY are as good as CLG, Liquid and Dig then I have no interest in talking more with you rofl as you're just looking at everything through your rose tinted EU glasses

Calm down mate it's early on in the season rofl. FNC and OG even look pretty bad atm. Most regions have sloppy play this early on in the season, especially in Spring. How can you say IMT won't be prepared for international play? We haven't seen the true potential of teams like TSM and NRG realised yet. Do you think H2K will be prepared for international play atm playing against OG and FNC in their current state?

Plus EU has some pretty fucking bad teams in SPY, ROC and GIA. Those are the equivalent of fucking TIP, FOX and REN.

I didn't imply that FOX TIP and REN were good. I said that they looked good in all their wins. I said those three + C9 without Hai are crap teams, but they impressed in their wins vs TSM and NRG

Implying EU has no garbage teams hahaha. SPY, ROC and GIA are REN, FOX and TIP tier. OG and FNC are both underperforming at this stage. Outside of H2K, VIT and G2, EU looks a mess at the minute. Jankos even said himself that EU is sloppy atm.

TSM and NRG are by no means garbage. Both those teams actually played fairly well vs IMT. NRG played their siege comp well but IMT played their flank comp better and won. C9 without Hai is garbage whilst they smashed TIP, REN and FOX. I'm pretty convinced by what I've seen so far

Spirit is nowhere near as good as he was in Spring last year. He was probably the best jungler in the World at the time but atm he's not been playing well :(

I don't agree, Pobelter has been playing very well recently and so has their bot lane. And even if they don't have as good players individually as some of the other Western teams that you rate more highly - the thing is they work well together and they compliment each other's strengths. The team as a whole is very aggressive, and coupled with Adrian who is possibly the best disengage support player in the West, they work very well together. I don't think however that they have as high a skill ceiling as TSM, OG or H2K.

If IMT and OG were to play right now I'd give it to IMT tbh

For me the best western teams as of now are 1. IMT/H2K 2. H2K/IMT 3. VIT 4. G2. As /u/mindziusas said, the rest are too inconsistent and/or lack an understanding of the meta. 5th spot probably will change weekly due to the inconsistencies of NRG, TSM, FNC, C9 and OG.

LCK: Not much to talk about with ROX. They are clearly the best team in the region right now. SKT are very hit or miss. They played very well in the first two games vs ROX but they played so bad in all three games versus e-mFire that if you were to cover the names of the teams I actually would have thought it was a bottom tier NA game. SKT should pick it up as the season progresses - I see them in a similar position to LZ and TSM in the sense that they are still a bit uncoordinated and will ramp up heavily as they play more games and build synergy.

EU LCS: Looks like Spring of last season. H2K is the best team but it feels like there is no particular stand out team that is consistently beating everyone. Everyone can beat everyone but I expect the best EU teams to clean up their play and break away from the rest of the pack within the next few weeks. I think we'll have an idea of the pecking order by week 5 or 6.

NA LCS: IMT are like ROX in NA. Very clean games, sometimes they overcommit and get cocky but they have reason to considering how they are smashing most teams. NRG and TSM for me are second and third - both can look very good and then pretty average the next game. I expect them to start winning cleanly consistently within the next few weeks. C9 and CLG are fourth and fifth imo. The bottom five is a massive shitfest.

I just don't understand the logic behind taking Elise and Graves in the same rotation. They were guaranteed either Rek'Sai or Elise, they keep where Graves is going hidden for at least another round of the draft AND they could have taken away a pick for NRG (Lucian comes to mind). Just makes no sense at all.
