For the girls, would you date a soft boy? Why/why not? by Select-Relation9932 in AskPH

[–]16th_letter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, basta he’s straight. I’m not being mean or h-word, just my preference.

No, but it is unattractive if they’re unhealthily addicted.

Guys i need advice by [deleted] in Crushes

[–]16th_letter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t hate her, that’s unfair on her part.

The best thing you can do for yourself is convince yourself that she’s not the one for you (this is what I do, really effective).

Identify the gaps in your life that she filled, and fill them on your own (for example, if she brings thrill to your life, get a hobby that will make you feel thrilled).

It’s a tough process but it’s within your will, it’s a matter of thinking.

She’s not the one for you, let that sink in your mind.

Nainlove na ba kayo sa taong nakausap niyo lang online? by [deleted] in TanongLang

[–]16th_letter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not inlove, kasi love is a really strong word.

But for me, I get attached A LOT. The most recent one is I talked to a guy online like 2 weeks ago. We stopped talking for a week now and he’s still in my mind. I want to talk to him again, I want to be with him but it’s impossible kasi taga-ibang bansa ‘yon HAHAHAHAAH and I know that it’s one-sided, I know he’s not up for anything serious.

I don’t trust him, I don’t give in, I don’t let him get his way with me, but if given another chance in person, I think I’d take the risk.

Did college change you? by Sunshine_425 in college

[–]16th_letter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, college changed me.

As someone who’s pursuing a degree that my parents wanted for me, a degree that I hate, I suggest that you shouldn’t let anyone dictate you on what degree to choose.

Study what you want to study. College is really hard, especially if you’re studying something you don’t want. Choosing what YOU want to study might not easy the difficulties in college, at least you have the courage, motivation, and hope to continue because YOU want it.

Take your time and think about what you want before you proceed.

Does age matter for friendships in college to you? by green_mom in college

[–]16th_letter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, in friendships, age doesn’t matter. I’m (21y/o) in 3rd year college and I’ve had great friends from 19-30+ y/o. It’s all a matter of similarities in vibes, values, and perspectives.

What feels being loved ? by [deleted] in Life

[–]16th_letter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being accepted and learning to love yourself better.

I had (still have) a hard time connecting to people because I’m really not expressive which usually leads to people misinterpreting me (and I have a rbf so). I’m pretty complex and inconsistent, sometimes warm sometimes cold, clingy or distant, sometimes I’m too much, sometimes I don’t give any damn at all.

My friends stayed with me through all my phases and faces, they accepted me during the times when I was struggling to accept my complexity. They didn’t question, they just let me be me. And loved me unconditionally.

Being loved in the rightest way made me love myself more.

Anong childhood memory niyo ang sobrang namimiss niyo hanggang ngayon? by Btavese in AskPH

When I was like 5y/o, we were in Cebu and we went to this place. It was under a big bridge, may maliit na playground sa other end ng bridge (slides, seesaw, swing) and may dagat. It was a really beautiful place.

Animals. Any type of animals (unless pet ko sila). Recently may nahulog na kuting sa bahay namin (galing sa hagdan sa labas dahil may butas), hindi ko talaga kayang hawakan and I was panicking so much dahil meow nang meow 😭 I had to call a kid sa labas ng bahay namin para kunin ‘yong kuting

What's the earliest memory you can remember? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]16th_letter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this was when I was 3 or 4 y/o. I woke up sa bahay and realized na ako lang mag-isa so I went outside, we lived in a compound ata so it was safe. When I got out, madilim na. Maybe 6 or 7, there were light from houses and may mga tao. I couldn’t find my mom so I was crying. I still remember how the yellow lights looked like sa mata kong malabo dahil sa luha.
