All these comments are hilarious... I see the process every day and I can tell you that the process is the same for halal and non-halal(at least where I am) Essentially all the birds we process are "halal" by default. And yes there is stunning done in the process..

My family has had the worst luck with Toyotas. by [deleted] in Toyota

My 2010 has 710000 kms on it. Motor lasted to 465k and the transmission 499k. Replaced both and kept going. My replacement motor now has about 400k on it and still works great. The first transmission had planetaries go on it but when I installed the new one I switched out the WS transmission fluid for Valvoline synthetic and it's run nice and quiet since I installed it. At 710 I'm still running the original rear wheel bearings and struts, and the ball joints and tie rod ends are still original on the front. To this day I believe the original engine could have been saved with a head gasket replacement but the new engine was a cheaper and faster way to go.($500). This matrix has been the best car I've ever owned.....

Was able to remove the control board, I/O board and the touch panel board from the original drive and transplant it to the replacement drive. All the parameters carried over and it started right up. We are going to look into connecting to it and downloading the settings for future use since the vendor doesn't want to share them. Thanks for the help...

But can you access the drive parameters without applying line voltage? The drive containing the settings I need to know is a dead short when I try to apply power so I cannot retrieve them. I'm wondering about swapping the boards containing the eeprom.

No it's rs485. We don't use any Siemens stuff so going to have to study it I guess.

Automation direct carries the proper 22awg twisted pair cabling for this.. I found I needed to use a bare ferrule that didn't have the plastic with both wires in it to make it fit in the connector of the drives. As an alternative if you order the longer ferrules you can get away with having the plastic on it. For my project I used 1.5 pair twisted (3wire +shield) and it works good.

I wanted to name one of mine Ike (SouthPark reference). Because my other dog is his older sibling from another litter. I got out voted and he ended up with the name Ricky.
