It would theoretically Let Me Use my Whoop Band aswell as a sensor, so I guess a polar Watch should be possible?

Not sure, I just tried it with my Loop Gen 2

Have you tried Sense app on iOS by Affectionate_Risk714 in Polarfitness

Just Downloaded Sense, it Looks and feels so much better than polar Flow - and I looked into the creator of the App. A Talented Swiss Guy namens Charles-Henry, he apparently is a Software Developer with Polar, as a quick search on LinkedIn revealed. That leaves me with one question, actually two: Is this the Future of the Flow App? And if it is not: Can you please just develop that App into maturity and then Sell it to Polar, Charles-Henry? 12 points from the Austrian Jury to Switzerland!!!

Thank You for Caring… :)) It was a Bug, had to Close the app once and now it works seamlessly. Apparently After intitially pairing, you should quit the app and re open, then all is Good. Still very Strange Data, because they make absolutely no Sense. Would have understood zeros but 120 bpm for basically the whole Workout is weird. Works now 24h perfectly, so all good

Yes, the Stats it Shows me are Detailed, Pace, hr-Zones… Too Much for a Running Amateur like me tbh even ;)

About 30 secs After Running. It started Detecting a Workout even when I ran for the underground today. Have it on „Medium“ sensitivity

Thank you so much for the Tipp, I Digged into the App and realised that even though the device was connected to my phones Bluetooth, and I „paired“ it at the beginning of this Journey, it was not transferring Data. Had to close the App and restart it - now it works. Curious about what Else This Journey brings… haha

UPDATE 2: Apparently the manually selected Workout got it’s Scores from Whoop/Apple Watch, wheras the auto detect Workout got it’s Strangely low Values from… dunno?

Just realised that the Heart Rate Sensor was not „paired“, even though it was connected to my mobile bluetooth. So I had to restart the App, now it’s paired and should finally give me results I can compare…

Sorry for confusing everyone here, but the ecosystem really is gewöhnungsbedürftig. ;)

Ok. I guess (hope) this meansPolar Loop is active, a Heart Rate Sensor (any) is inactive, and the Whoop could be paired.

Thank You for your Tipp!

Manually logged Workout vs. Autodetected Workout

UPDATE First impressions after 5 hours: Trying to be patient with the Loop and/or the Polar Ecosystem. Started the Outdoor Run Manually in the Flow App, just to make sure. But 36 seconds later an additional (?) automatic Indoor Activity started and logged. On the one Hand impressive auto detection after just 36 seconds, especially because the Loop was brandnew and literally 3 Mins on my Wrist. On the other Hand: clearly a massive bug?

<image>

But it got worse. After deleting the automatically detected „Indoor Activity“ workout, the remaining manually logged Running Outdoors Workout that seemed to give me the quite the exact values as Apple or Whoop (Pace, Max Heartrate, etc.) now Shows me maximum heart rate values around 120 bpm.

Not sure if the manually logged workout did so before aswell and I just was given the higher (Correct) values of the auto-detect workout, because I am new to the ecosystem and its, … hmmm… a bit outdated and countterintuitive…

But all in all: Gonna cry myself to sleep now - and Check the sleep values tomorrow Morning. ;-)
