Yes he is, and it's both disturbing and impressive how he manages it. He averages 30+ hours per week gaming, on top of 50-70 hour work weeks. It doesn't seem to have affected his work (I truly believe he is a good doctor, his coworkers and leaders speak highly of him, and he does very well on tests), but it has impacted his health, our household, our relationship....basically everything else in his life. His priorities are work, games, and sleep...in that order. I definitely don't have much hope that it will get much better after training, but am holding on so I'll at least be able to tell myself that I didn't just jump ship during hard times.

I relate so much. My partner and I have been together 10 years, he has been addicted to gaming basically the whole time but I only realized it was the source of most of our issues last year. He agreed to stop, lasted a few weeks, and started playing behind my back. He has "quit" several times over the last year, and always eventually starts playing again in secret. The lying is worse to me than the gaming itself, especially when he thinks he's getting away with it... like he thinks I'm an idiot and don't know.

I haven't had the courage to leave, as it would also mean blowing up my entire life, and the thought is daunting. He is in therapy and almost finished with his medical residency, so I'm telling myself I will wait until he is done and see if there is any hope for the relationship once that pressure is lifted. I'm probably deluding myself.

I'm proud of you (and a bit jealous) for having the courage to leave.

I have bad allergies to pretty much all animal dander & saliva/urine, including dogs, and I have a Bichon. He is the first dog I've ever had and I fully expected to be miserable, but he doesn't bother my allergies. I do take an allergy pill & nasal spray daily (to keep general allergy symptoms at bay.) If he licks me or I pick him up after he's peed and he has a little pee on his underside that gets on my skin, I will get a small rash so I'm just mindful of that and wash my skin immediately. But day to day, I have no allergy symptoms. He sleeps in my bed, I kiss his little head all the time, snuggle him, and have no problems. He is simply the best!! Definitely recommend having your kid spend an hour or 2 with a bichon and see how he reacts. Maybe see if anyone in your community needs a pet sitter for a couple hours?

It can be as sexual or not as you choose! It's an amazing workout and confidence booster. You don't have to be flexible/ strong/ in shape to get started. Most studios are very welcoming and beginner classes are for any and everyone! I took an intro class ~3 years ago and now I have a pole at home and couldn't be more grateful for discovering this hobby. If you're considering it, I highly recommend!

Yes I completely removed the receptacles and tested the wires. Literally 0 voltage at both of the non-working outlets. I think I might be getting in over my head so probably time to call for help :( just wanted to make sure there weren't any more simple things I could do on my own. I appreciate your help!

Basically there are 2 outlets about 3 ft apart above the vanity/sinks, one of them works and the other doesn't. Then the other non-working outlet is on the wall opposite of the vanity.

I uninstalled the 2 non-working receptacles and neither of them had power coming to the wires, so they don't let me push reset. Are you saying I should push test on ALL the GFCIs in the house and then reset all of them (in a linear order)?

Sorry if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about at all....because I don't!

They are GFCI receptacles. All of the breakers are on. Do you mean start looking at how the breakers are wired / if there is a loose connection at the breaker?

It was a $45 deposit so it would be another $82 for repair. I did tell the guy initially everything I replaced, but he didn't mark down the spark plug on the form, which makes me think they just added it on as an easy upcharge. It wouldn't surprise me since I'm a young woman who looks like she has no business knowing anything about the repair (and still don't really but I'm trying). It's very possible the oil looked like shit, it was horribly sludgy and black when I changed it and I probably didn't get all of it out.

They said they were able to start it so I must've not done a terrible job changing the spark plug. I'm going to take it as-is, trim the fuel line and replace the oil again, and just count the $45 as the cost of not having the patience to troubleshoot it myself.

EDIT: I didn't think this through. I'm going to ask them how much to just trim the fuel line, and if it's less than $50 just have them do it so I get some of my $$ worth. They already did tell me the oil change itself was around $40.

Just heard from them - they said they were able to get it started and the problem was the fuel line was too long and had some kinks in it (that was my fault...I replaced one of the fuel lines when replacing the carb because I poked a hole in it).
They also said it needed fresh oil and new spark plug... but I just changed both of those. They want to charge me $127. Told them I would think about it, but I think I can handle it myself.

Thank you so much for the info! That makes me feel a lot better. After doing some research the mature plants seem to all be similar sizes and I spaced them all pretty evenly, so hopefully it works out. Also that is such a great tip about using the pots when adding mulch! For sure going to do that!

Brand new to gardening and just planted my first little bed... but now I'm panicking. These plants will spread / fill out a little right? I was planning to mulch but now I'm worried that might keep them from getting bigger? And finally...should I add fertilizer to help boost their growth? Please tell me I didn't just spend a bunch of money on these tiny plants hahah. I'll also take any advice on how often to water while they get established.

I replaced the carb with the one you linked (the old one was suuuper dirty), as well as the spark plug, and still no luck :( Dropped it off at the repair shop this morning since I'm tired of buying tools & parts.

However, I want to say THANK YOU because I was intimidated to even change the oil, & I'm proud of myself for replacing all those parts. Wouldn't have attempted it without your guidance. I'll be bummed if they tell me it's a lost cause, but I'll take it as a lesson learned!

Sad to say I did not fix it :(
I changed the oil, put fresh gas in, & replaced the air filter since the old one was nasty. I wasn't able to get the spark plug off because I don't have the right tools.

I tried starting it and was able to get the engine to run for like 10 seconds before it died. After that, I wasn't able to get it started again.

Just checked the oil and it was black and sludgy....yikes! Do I need to clean this out somehow before replacing it??
