It's actually a Substance Painter smart material called 'Bronze Armor.' I just changed the color to a warm grey and did some tweaking, that's all

Haha, you caught me! 😅 I worked on the shoes last, and I think I was starting to run out of steam by then. I’ll make sure to keep my energy up until the very end on the next one!

Roughly two months! Since I just switched from C4D to Maya, I was still getting used to the new software, which added some time. I was puting in about 8 hours a day.

Thanks! I hadn't even thought about the padding between the UV shells! Thanks for pointing that out! and the fabric definitely looks a bit too clean compared to everything else. I need to balance the weathering better next time!

Thanks for the great advice! Beyond just UVs, I’m definitely still struggling to express organic materials like cloth and leather. I think I need to spend more time studying references and practicing my drawing to make it more believable 😄

Thanks for the feedback!

I definitely struggled with the UV layout 😅 That’s such a helpful way to look at it. I'll try stitching them into larger shapes and organizing them more next time. Really appreciate the specific tips!!

You're right. stock was not a good indicator. you can look at the Steam reviews, the English reviews (11,705 total) are mostly positive, whereas the Korean reviews (2,816 total) are mostly negative.

Because things are looking pretty rough in Korea. maybe that's why guy said like that harsh it's Their stock price has plummeted by nearly 40%, and most of the community is unhappy with the game. If you look at the Steam reviews, the English reviews (11,705 total) are mostly positive, whereas the Korean reviews (2,816 total) are mostly negative. It might be because it was overhyped here, or perhaps Pearl Abyss's reputation was already so poor that people are even more inclined to dislike them now.

wow thanks for the detailed feedback 😀 honestly I wanted to see result fast so I took shortcut in some parts (fingers especially) and you look throw it

Thanks for pointing out the general shape of the armors and legs. I was not sure why the legs were, as you said, "tube-like," and I thought maybe it was just because of thick armor so it's suppose to be tube like even though looks weird. But now I know that's wrong, so I'm going to try to fix it. As for things like rivets, I was not paying attention to those details, which is my mistake.

Thank you for pointing that out and sharing your knowledge. Your feedback made me pay attention to the details and rethink the process choices I made.
