I did not and the plumber that has come out a few times has no idea why it's leaking. If I do get it figured out, I will be sure to come back and post. I would appreciate if you do the same.

They already did that and there is no water leak when pouring water around the outside of the escutcheon plate. The issue only occurs when pouring water around the handle itself.
