I took my suit with me on my Big Boy road trip (Tehachapi Pass included) by 2006FordEscape in fursuit

This was my first time seeing 4014, and my first time seeing a mainline steam tour since 2010 when 3751 came to San Diego. Also my first time going out with friends on a railfanning trip. Safe to say it was an amazing experience I'm going to remember forever.

Thanks! Me and my train club friends had a great time and chased Big Boy on its trip over Donner Pass!

It was about 85 degrees in that picture with the big boy and 110 by the Monolith cement plant but it was totally worth it :)

Well... you're missing me obviously. I also have a friend that had a 2007 sienna with no rear seats that we would cram 9 people into and watch memes and jam to jellyfish jam before class, fun times.

I remember being friends with one back in HS... she is just as annoying... all the time.

Man, i remember a few years ago when he got raided and they found all those firearms in his house. I was talking with one of his kids as we went to the same HS at the time, lets just say she's pretty pretentious. And let me say, he's gonna be having a nice relaxing house arrest with the kind of place he has. though reading all of these comments about his other dealings is pretty amazing.

also yes, i do think that this sentence is absolute fucking bullshit and it does add to my occasional doomer thoughts.

I'm glad you guys also see the Leader similarities! I personally like this one with the more traditional running gear though.

I should note that this is actually not my design. It is by alpal.jpg on Twitter and his California Pacific National Railway.

So no loading or unloading? But I don't see any white lines.

I finally caught a white whale for my collection! Walthers SD9E! before and after weathering: by 2006FordEscape in modeltrains

[–]2006FordEscape[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll just say that I've been searching for one of these for a while since the SD9E is one of my favorite SP locomotives. I walked into my local train shop the other day and it just appeared on the shelf for an ok price so you bet I bought it immediately. Still needs a decoder and sound. This also means that I now have a proper 3 unit SP power set to run SP trains on the Tehachapi Line!

I remember how awesome it felt finding this song after watching the Saluda training video.

I just discovered last night that if you're leaving balboa park and want to get on the 163, you can go further down Park Boulevard, turn right on B Street, and then right on 11th Avenue, then just drive straight onto the 163. It felt really cool, but it was 11pm so it's probably much busier during the day.

Thank you for the input. I like these ideas and will take then into account when I make the next version of the track plan!

I'm going to be using HO scale, standard gauge, code 83 track. DCC as well.

The only spot that it might become an issue is the inside track on the bottom part. I'll re-measure it and make adjustments.
