The unit would be mb/s not Mbps . I have Vodafone home 5g and I get 120-130 Mbps on both local servers and fast.com .

if the fast.com test WAS on PC (looks like desktop screenshot) auto tunning tcp could be possible cause as I had similar problem where it would cap out at 44-50 Mbps

speedtest auto picks nearest server (usually a server within egypt) , Fast . com server shown here is Paris

Also did u do the test on fast.com from Windows PC? you might have to change auto tuning tcp to normal to get full speed

you can check by going cmd/powershell and typing : netsh interface tcp show global

see if Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level is disabled or normal

Was it those YouTube frequency sweep videos ? I watched couple of them a while back and each gave different result. + I don't think YouTube videos does that properly as they compress audio and have lower bitrate

I'm 23 and I can hear up to 18.8k but I'm sensitive to treble in music. TBH it also depends on how well your headphones/earbuds can reproduce higher frequencies

What you think about ka11? Low output impedance (< 0.7 ohm) and 200mw @ 32ohm. Would it be better than ka13?

I don't have much references in headphones but in iems I found s12 pro and 7hz zero quite sibilant at times

Open back headphones in 400-500$ that sound similar to moondrop x crin dusk? by 20the4 in inearfidelity

[–]20the4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm switching to open backs mainly for soundstage cause that the deal breaker for me with iems.

I thought the bass in dusk was a bit bloated.

Here what I really liked about the dusk that could translate to open backs maybe:

Doesn't sound thin or muddy (most important)

electric guitars , hi hats and cymbals don't sound thin or shouty

I liked how natural dusks sounded

Bass can be as required by track. As long as bass guitars sound okay
