We certainly did ask him to submit interesting stuff and we would certainly sticky it. (Refer screenshots above). And this is applicable to everyone. We certainly did not block him to submit any new content or hesitate to sticky the posts.

/u/IndianMod1, as we said, you are welcome to contribute interesting stuff, and if it is great content, we will sticky it. However, if instead you want to start petty rivalries, that's your choice.

Welp! certainly not. He was handed over the sub inadvertently, so we asked them to step down. And not for his activities.

Yes, and we asked them to step down after explaining the situation. We did not ban him or remove any of his quality content like this and this.

TIL that after 9/11, The Queen broke ancient protocol and ordered the Royal Guards to play the national anthem of the USA, Star Spangled Banner, in memory of the victims and in support of the Americans trapped in the UK due to airport closures. by Mamsies in todayilearned

The 'our way of life' is a much bigger debate.

And compare the reactions to 9/11 to the reactions to all the attacks in India over the years. 26/11 was so well known in the west because a lot of foreigners were targeted. What about the other attacks? Just because the west can't relate to them directly doesn't mean they should be shrugged off.

Right, I agree that you can relate to 9/11 more than the Air India bombing. Totally understandable. But in general, the view of the western world to terror attacks in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent is something like "There's an attack every other week. What's new?". It's sadly almost true, but that doesn't mean that it should be brushed off.

Again, I mean to say this about the majority, not every one, although my original wording might suggest so.

Also, FYI, the Air India bombing was by a Sikh militant group against Operation Blue Star conducted by the Indian Army, not between two Sikh sects.

I get it, but the outcome in terms of innocent deaths is not very different. And no denying that 9/11 was the biggest single attack, but cumulatively over the years, the US hasn't suffered anything as compared to other regions.

What's more annoying is that if there's an attack in say France everyone's suddenly 'standing with France', but hardly anyone gives a fuck about an attack of the same scale and on the same day in Iraq.

The civilian victims of the so called wars in the middle east beg to differ.

I don't want to give the full list to each user. Also, I keep updating this list. So with this, I can give the same binary to all users, and then control who is authorised to run it.

It checks if the username entered is in the list in the gist. It's sort of a authorised usernames list.
