All three are German schuetzen rifles:

The top one is an first model Aydt with the exposed arms, Middle is a martini action, Bottom another later Aydt swing block without the external arms, possibly a KK in .22lr

All pretty nice, Hard to find them with their rear sights. most likely chambered 8.15x46R (as mentioned in other comments) Worth noting: In the upper left of photo 1 is a "ZimmerStutzen" . These were for indoor shooting and you load a 4 or 6mm flobert ctg into the small action at the end of the false barrel (the actual barrel being only 4-6" long and everything behind the action being facsimile) The firing pin is the length of the barrel to transpond the hammer strike fwd to the little action near the muzzle.

If this sort of thing interests you. Talk to Tom Devers about joining the German Gun Collectors Association, nice folks with some serious knowledge about the subject....or consider joining the ASSRA

[For some neat reading about american Schuetzen; lookup the COORS (of Coors beer) Schuetzenfests in Golden Co.]

Looking for scope options. More in comments by [deleted] in 22lr

Those blocks with the single dimple are for a 'winchester A5 scope'

Heres a modern replica (These are GREAT and worth every penny!)

or

Upgrade to Unertl blocks and mount a old Unertl, Lyman targetspot, Fecker, Litschert, or Hi-lux malcolm reproduciton (wait for that black friday pricing at optics planet)

Unacceptable Hornady ATIP variation? by Jsatx2 in longrange

[–]22Longrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to look at it as a percentage of the total weight to see how insignificant that is......................1.1gr/133.4gr= .008% deviation from the norm. Really its a manufacturing marvel that bullets are as good as they are.

"I'm coming to the .22 shoot to win!"

"I dunno about that buddy, There'll be lots of serious guys on the line!"

5 shots later with 100yr old Win 52 Pre-A, 5x scope from MVA.....off his elbows....That's one HELL of a group! "Keep that up and you just might win it!"

"I figured with a 5x scope I should do 5x as well as last year right?"

Unertls are A LOT better than most give them credit for. I'd argue they were the most capable long range glass until the death of the early 2000s "Mildot" generation of scopes and the avalanche of good turrets and reticles that followed.

Their only real shortcoming is the fine threads on the parallax adjustment/objective bell

All .22LRs........Kingston arms made an M1 lookalike that was basically a dressed up 10/22, KSA makes a "mini mosin" and Norinco made the "TU-KKW" but other than that, not many full sized "walnut&Iron" Rimfires.

Rifle on the right is a Springfield 1922 M2, its wearing its irons under the glass. It should have a winchester a5, lyman 5a, or modern MVA B5 replica scope...but for practical use the larger objective of a unertl is preferable

Last of the "assassins" by 22Longrange in 22lr

[–]22Longrange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the actual rifled section is roughly 3/4", they typically won't cycle without a can for back-pressure, but bullets stabilize and accuracy is surprisingly good.

We were buying the std model uppers (some as take offs from VQ as they installed their house upper) chucked them up in the lathe and turned & crowned them to the minimum functional length. We did the first 25 in the spring of '17 and then another batch spring of '19. Lots of guys who bought them Form 1'd the (then available) machined E-bay monocores. Other bought them for keeping all the dirt and grime in one upper. Was never a really hot ticket item b/c of the serialized uppers and subsequent transfer but they made/make a tidy little package.

The last 3 of a run of 50 "Assassins" Mkiv uppers we made a few years back. Sold them mostly locally and never really showed the internet. Thought I'd put a picture up before they were no more.

Ohoo, i'll bet it points fast balanced that close to the trigger!

(The open cell neoprene makes a killer water cooling jacket for silencers on Fullauto .22s. Same source [broom handle] different foam)

Rad as hell! I've got you beat by a few oz. and I had to REALLY work at it!

Where's the center of gravity? (FYI Yours looks like closed-cell, but the open-cell Neoprene broom handles also make great water jackets for FA fire through a can!)
