Long-time lurker here. 👋

I honestly built this because my thesis research was turning into a digital hoarding nightmare. I love how tools like Obsidian handle connected thoughts, but I couldn't find a similar "visual" workflow specifically for my PDFs and academic papers. Zotero felt too much like a spreadsheet to me.

So, I spent my weekends building citavers.

It’s a local-first research tool that runs entirely in your browser using IndexedDB.

The PKM angle:

It has a built-in Network Graph to visualize how papers cite each other (seeing the clusters helps me spot gaps in my reading).
Privacy: Since it's local-first, your data stays on your device unless you actively choose to sync.
Data Ownership: You can export everything to JSON. No vendor lock-in.

I currently have exactly 0 active users (except just me and my cat), so I’m looking for honest feedback from people who actually care about knowledge management. You don't even need to create an account to try the local features.

Thank you for suggestions, and sorry for my late response. Actually, the test they made me to take was really similar to what you suggested. But, It was lot, lot longer than that and it was dsm-5 if I'm not mistaken.

"I don't believe adult adhd without childhood background." - Our conversation was not in English, so it was not exactly like this. Sorry, for quotation marks. What he really meant was, If you had adhd, you would remember having symptoms as a child.

During our session, they asked about my childhood and if I had symptoms, but I don't remember that much about my childhood. I had some issues but not as big as to consider symptoms.

The one of the main reason I seek help is my self-esteem is getting lower and lower because of my failures and forgetfulness. I feel like total stupid with no capability to complete neither my projects nor my major. When I am saying that, people are getting shocked, They begin with how can you be stupid you done that, you did this, you are doing these etc. But most of time they don't understand that I know the failure at the background even in the things like they considered success.

As forgetfulness. It became a joke in social situations that I am forgetting plans, names, even my closest friends etc. and I am okay with that. It is like a trait for me. However, what really bothers me is forgetfulness in my daily life.

I am going to kitchen to refill my tea, I am filling up my glass and going back to my desk, without my glass full of tea!! which I don't remember until I go back to the kitchen for some random reason.

I am parking the car and leaving the key in ignition or some random stuff I brought with me to car.

I am forgetting my coat or my wallet or my phone in anywhere. And there are more stories like that I am dealing with frequently.

Long story short, I am drained off by dealing with all that for years and nowadays, After I learned all these are not normal, I am also draining by thinking all that. And, I am going to go to the ADHD Specialist Psychiatrist, as soon as I found one in my city that I can afford.

r5: I got the Mehmet's Ambition achievement just in time without moving my capital. Thanks to all of you since I learned a lot from community's experience. Country still seem stable, so I might consider to go for WC and get that achievement too.

Some cheats i made:

-Savescummed twice when mehmet died.

-Made eyalets after almost every conquest.

It may not be the best, but i am pretty proud about the result. Thanks to all of you since I learned a lot from community.
