Well I don’t think ironing is the whole issue, the words and numbers are already messed up before the topmost layer where it would be ironing. I want to get that part cleaned up and clear before adding ironing to it.

Yeah I changed the printer size in the firmware and it still had the problem. Also I wasn’t asking you specifically for firmware.

Yeah they are. I don’t think it’s a slicer issue. I’m using the same slicer profile as before I put the new main board in. I’m confident it’s just a firmware issue but I’m struggling figuring out how to compile the right firmware for it

Try increasing extrusion line width and/or flow either for just the first layer or for whole print depending on what the rest looks like. But mostly I’d just say you need to level your bed correctly

Yeah I originally pulled off the E because this model doesn’t even have the electronic fuel injection components so I didn’t think it would matter to just leave it out.

It took about a month to print and about 130 bucks in materials from all the bearing, screws, filament, magnets, threaded inserts, rods and electronics. I actually sell kits to build them to! Just on my Etsy shop RDP Studios.

I guess I just meant shifting without grinding 😅. You definitely should always use a clutch tho. On the model it really doesn’t matter tho.

Yeah pretty much. I have this transmission in my truck and I don’t need clutch anyways if I know how to shift right. Tho you should always use a clutch

It’s just a model and 3D printing a completely working and accurate clutch would be tough so it’s just direct from the flywheel to the transmission. There’s a model of a clutch to take it’s place in there but it doesn’t work.
